Dear Clients,

I'm writing to inform you of potential changes affecting HSA and FSA plan coverage for 2025. I've recently had several clients whose HSA cards were declined when they tried to use them here.

One client was told that her HSA wouldn't cover massages at my business because we're categorized as a health and beauty spa. This same categorization might also affect FSA eligibility.

Because of this, I strongly advise you to confirm coverage with your insurance provider before trying to use your HSA or FSA cards for my services.

I understand this may be inconvenient, and I sincerely apologize for any disruption it causes. I hope that HSA/FSA coverage will be reinstated in the future.

LYMPHATIC RESTORATION THERAPY

Lymphatic Restoration Therapy (LRT)

What Is Lymphatic Restoration Therapy (LRT)?

Lymphatic Restoration Therapy (LRT) is a personalized series of therapies designed to address your specific needs, as determined by your therapist. LRT therapists have undergone extensive training and invested recourses to acquire the necessary skills and tools for this therapy. The treatment involves the use of a specialized microcurrent delivered through a Dolphin Neurostim Device. Additional therapies such as manual lymphatic drainage, scar tissue release therapy (SRT) exercise, compression therapy, and home care programs may also be incorporated. The underlying principles of LRT include Acupuncture theory and the use of electrical stimulation to rejuvenate cells in the lymphatic system.  The Dolphin Neurostim is particularly effective in accessing acupuncture points without the need for needles and treating scar tissue that may impede the system’s optimal functioning. While it is generally recommended to undergo 6 sessions, this may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Acupressure points are used to enhance the function of the lymphatic system by decreasing cortisol levels, opening up the diaphragm to help restore the breath, treating the supportive organs, breaking up scar tissue, muscle tightness, adhesions, fascial restrictions, joint restrictions and postural restrictions. This helps to facilitate the flow of the blood and lymph throughout the body.

How does this device break up scar tissue.

Normal tissue is a negative polarity. When the tissue is cut it changes to a positive polarity so the surrounding tissue can swell to allow room for the cut to clot and start the rebuilding process. The swelling is necessary not only to allow for space but to protect the surrounding tissue from further damage.

Postural restrictions- Because we live in a flexed society where most of us are either; sitting down looking at a phone, TV, sitting down to watch a movie, eat dinner or working at a desk all day. If you look at the picture below you can see the front of the chest is pulled forward shortening the chest muscles, the diaphragm is being compressed and the psoas which connects from your lower spine to the front of your hip is shortened. This will affect your ability stand up straight to allow the diaphragm to function properly. Cause tightness, pain and weakness throughout your entire back. So while you have pain in your back, it’s the opposite side that is causing the pain.

Dental problems and procedures-

  • Each tooth corresponds to a meridian
  • Can cause inflammation in the cervical lymph nodes
  • Can disrupt the flow of a channel
  • Can cause jaw misalignment
  • Can tax the immune system
  • Often treated with a lot of antibiotics
  • Some dental work can be toxic (fillings)
  • Some dental work is traumatic
